ARRIVAL IN MOMBASA
Karibu Kenya! Upon your arrival at Mombasa airport on a morning flight, your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and most celebrated wildlife reserves. During the approximately four-hour journey, you’ll take in landscapes that reveal the raw and authentic beauty of rural Africa. In the afternoon, head out on your first safari game drive, where you’ll have the chance to encounter elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, and an incredible variety of birdlife.

JOURNEY TO TAITA HILLS
Start the day with an early morning safari, when wildlife is at its most active. After breakfast, travel to Taita Hills Sanctuary, a stunning natural haven located around 2 to 2.5 hours away. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the lodge and free time to take in the breathtaking views, where lush green hills contrast beautifully with the golden savannah.

TAITA HILLS SANCTUARY
A full day dedicated to exploring Taita Hills Sanctuary. Enjoy sunrise and sunset safaris or take part in optional lodge activities. The dramatic mountainous scenery and incredible diversity of wildlife make this the perfect setting to experience the magic of Africa at its finest. In the evening, enjoy dinner beneath a star-filled sky as you reflect on the day’s unforgettable moments.

RETURN TO MOMBASA & DEPARTURE
Your final African sunrise. If you wish, enjoy an optional activity before beginning the approximately four-hour journey back to Mombasa. Transfer to the airport for your return flight and bid farewell to an unforgettable safari adventure through Kenya’s wild landscapes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
International flights
For the safari, arrival must be through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi or Moi International Airport (MBA) in Mombasa. If you choose the Zanzibar extension, you can fly directly from Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ).
Visa
A visa is required to travel to Kenya. We can manage the application process for you from €125. Alternatively, it can be arranged upon arrival at the airport.
Vaccinations
Currently, no vaccinations are mandatory for entry into Kenya unless you have visited a yellow fever endemic country within the six months prior to travel. We recommend consulting your nearest tropical medicine center for the latest health advice.
Malaria
No mandatory treatment is required. However, we strongly recommend visiting an international vaccination center for professional advice regarding malaria prevention and other travel health recommendations.
