ITINERARY SUMMARY

DAY 1

ARRIVAL IN ATHENS

Arrival at the airport, meet and greet, and transfer to the selected accommodation. If arriving early, optional activities may be arranged (check with the agency). Free time. Accommodation: Hotel in Athens.

DAYS 2-3

ATHENS

During these two days, you will enjoy the Greek capital at a relaxed pace. On Day 2, an optional guided visit to the Acropolis and its Museum will be offered, accompanied by an official Spanish-speaking guide, where you will discover landmarks such as the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Caryatids, as well as the main exhibits of the museum. On Day 3, a free day in Athens, with the possibility of optional visits such as the Ancient Agora, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, or the Psiri district, or simply enjoying the city at your own pace. Accommodation: Hotel in Athens. Breakfast included.

DAY 4

CORINTH CANAL-EPIDAURUS-MYCENAE-OLYMPIA

Departure towards the Peloponnese with a stop at the Corinth Canal, an impressive engineering feat connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas. Continue to Epidaurus, where you will visit its famous theater, known for its perfect acoustics, and the archaeological museum. Afterwards, visit Mycenae, center of Mycenaean civilization, with the Lion Gate and the Treasury of Atreus. Arrival in Olympia in the late afternoon. Accommodation: Hotel in Olympia. Half board.

DAY 5

OLYMPIA-DELPHI

Guided visit to the archaeological site of Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games, including the stadium, the Temple of Zeus, and the Temple of Hera. After the visit, departure to Delphi, crossing the Achaia region and the impressive Rio–Antirrio Bridge. Arrival in Delphi. Accommodation: Hotel in Delphi. Half board.

DAY 6

DELPHI-KALAMBAKA(METEORA)

Tour of the Sanctuary of Delphi and its Archaeological Museum, one of the most important sites of ancient Greece. Visit to the Temple of Apollo, the Sacred Way, and the ancient votive treasuries. Afterwards, departure to Kalambaka, gateway to the Meteora region. Accommodation: Hotel in Meteora. Half board.

DAY 7

METEORA-THERMOPYLAE

Visit to the impressive Monasteries of Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located on giant rock formations surrounded by a unique landscape. Afterwards, stop at Thermopylae, historic site of the famous battle between Greeks and Persians led by King Leonidas. Return to the hotel.

DAY 8

RETURN TO SPAIN

Transfer to the airport and return flight to Spain, ending an unforgettable journey through the great treasures of classical Greece.
