On this journey you'll witness the greatest natural spectacle on Earth: the Great Migration. Your trip begins at the foot of Kilimanjaro, but you'll soon head north, chasing the immense columns of wildebeest and zebra that thunder across the savannah.
You'll feel the tension and adrenaline on the banks of the legendary Mara River, waiting for the exact moment of the crossing, where life and death collide in waters teeming with crocodiles.
You'll venture deep into the Serengeti, territory of the great cats, and descend into Africa's Eden, the Ngorongoro Crater. A journey designed to make you feel the wild heartbeat of the continent at its most intense.
ITINERARY SUMMARY
WELCOME TO TANZANIA
You'll land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our team will be waiting to welcome you with open arms. You'll transfer to your base in Moshi or Arusha to rest after the flight and start settling into the African rhythm. If time allows, you'll get your first taste of local culture before a welcome dinner and an early night ahead of the adventure that begins at dawn.

LAND OF GIANTS: TARANGIRE
After breakfast, you'll head to Tarangire National Park, the kingdom of elephants and ancient baobabs. You'll enter a storybook landscape, watching entire elephant families drinking at the river and lions resting in the shade. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by wild nature before heading to your accommodation on the edge of the park for a night under a starry sky.

INTO THE HEART OF THE SERENGETI
Today you'll cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enter the endless plains of the central Serengeti. Feel the horizon expand before your eyes as you go out on your first game drive in search of the Big Five. The landscape shifts as you move through kopjes and golden savannah, arriving at your camp in the heart of nature to fall asleep to the sounds of the African night.

THE DRAMA OF THE MARA RIVER
Over these two days you'll experience the highlight of the entire trip. You'll move north towards the park's border with Kenya, the main stage of the Great Migration. You'll patrol the banks of the Mara River hoping to witness the famous crossing, the dramatic moment when thousands of wildebeest launch themselves into the water, defying crocodiles and currents. You'll watch the struggle for survival in its rawest, most powerful form.

BACK TO THE CENTRAL PLAINS
On your final morning, depending on your flight time, you'll have time to relax or browse the local craft markets for a piece of Tanzania to take home. We'll then transfer you to the airport, where you'll say goodbye to these lands with a bag full of African dust and a heart full of unforgettable memories.

THE NGORONGORO CRATER
An early start to descend into the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera: the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll feel like you've stepped inside a documentary as you take in the incredible density of wildlife living within this closed ecosystem. Search for the elusive black rhino among flamingos, hyenas, and lions. After an unforgettable picnic lunch beside the hippo lake, you'll ascend and make your way back to Moshi or Arusha.

FAREWALL AND HOMEWARD BOUND
On your final morning, depending on your flight time, you'll have time to relax or browse the local craft markets for a piece of Tanzania to take home. International flights
Your gateway airport should be Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). If you're adding a Zanzibar extension, you can fly home directly from Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ).
Visa
A visa is required to enter Tanzania. We can handle the paperwork for you for €100, just let us know! Alternatively, you can apply on arrival at the airport.
Vaccinations
There are currently no mandatory vaccinations required to enter Tanzania, unless you've visited a yellow fever endemic country in the six months before your trip. That said, we always recommend stopping by your nearest tropical medicine centre for personalised advice from a specialist.
Malaria
No mandatory treatment is required. However, we strongly recommend visiting an international vaccination center for professional advice regarding malaria prevention and other travel health recommendations.
