ITINERARY SUMMARY
WELCOME TO THE INCA CAPITAL
Our team will warmly welcome you upon arrival at Cusco Airport and escort you to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a fascinating tour of the historic city center, visiting the magnificent Cathedral, Qorikancha Temple, and the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Experience the magical atmosphere before finishing the day in the Plaza de Armas.

THE SACRED VALLEY & JOURNEY ABOVE THE CLOUDS
At 7:00 a.m., depart Cusco and head into the Sacred Valley. Visit the archaeological site of Pisac and explore its vibrant handicraft market. After a buffet lunch in Urubamba, step back in time while exploring the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo before boarding the scenic train to Aguas Calientes.

THE MAGIC OF MACHU PICCHU
Today is the highlight of your expedition. Take the shuttle bus up to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where you'll enjoy a guided tour uncovering the mysteries behind its remarkable architecture and engineering. Afterwards, return by bus to Aguas Calientes, enjoy some free time, and board the train back to Ollantaytambo before transferring to Cusco.

ENGINEERING & SPECTACULAR LANDSCAPES
This morning, travel to Moray to admire its extraordinary circular agricultural terraces, believed to have served as an Inca agricultural laboratory. Continue to Maras, where you'll witness the unique sight of a natural spring continuously filling more than 3,000 handcrafted salt pools. Enjoy a free afternoon in Cusco.

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE
Depart early for one of Peru's most spectacular excursions. Travel to Cusipata for breakfast before beginning the hike from Chillihuani to the breathtaking viewpoint of Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain). Admire its striking multicolored mineral layers and enjoy the rewarding feeling of reaching the summit. Buffet lunch included before returning to Cusco.

International flights
To join this itinerary, your arrival airport should be Cusco International Airport (CUZ). Most international flights connect through Lima (LIM), requiring a domestic flight of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to Cusco.
Visa
Spanish passport holders do not require a tourist visa. A stay of up to 90 days is granted upon arrival.
Vaccinations and altitude
No mandatory vaccinations are required. To help prevent altitude sickness ("soroche") in Cusco (3,400 m / 11,150 ft) and Rainbow Mountain (5,000 m / 16,400 ft), we recommend staying well hydrated, eating light meals, and taking it easy on your first day.
